Facilities & Ranges:
The club features a 25-yard heated indoor range with electrically operated retrievable targets, ideal for handguns, .22 long rifles, and pistol caliber carbines. Outdoors, they offer multiple ranges, including:
- A 200-yard rifle range for various rifle calibers and distances, including .22 precision and military rifle matches.
- Dedicated outdoor ranges for trap shooting.
- Several multi-purpose outdoor ranges, including those used for IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation), PPC (Police Pistol Combat), and Black Powder shooting, some with shooting houses, benches, and steel targets like Texas Stars and Duelling Trees.
- Archery facilities.
The clubhouse is open year-round with running water, washrooms, a full kitchen, and a meeting room. The club is open 24 hours for members.
Services & Membership:
Crean Hill Gun Club is a members-only club with no waiting list, accepting new members. They offer single, senior (over 65), and family memberships, which include a $5,000,000 insurance policy through the Canadian Shooting Sports Association (CSSA). There's a one-time onboarding fee for new members, and fees are pro-rated if joining mid-year. Members are allowed to bring guests.
The club actively supports various shooting disciplines and hosts matches, including IPSC, PPC, .22 Challenge, Black Powder, .22 Precision, and Military Rifle. They welcome new shooters and even lend firearms for those interested in trying Black Powder. The club emphasizes a safe and responsible shooting environment.
