Services:
The Corpus Christi Gun Club provides several services, primarily focusing on its members and their guests:
- Instruction: Shooting instruction is available.
- League Shooting: The club supports league shooting for various disciplines.
- Corporate Outings: Facilities and programs are available for corporate events.
- Hunter Education and LTC Classes: The clubhouse and classroom facilities enable the club to host instructional programs, including state-mandated hunter education classes and License to Carry (LTC) handgun classes.
- Membership: Use of the pistol and rifle areas is generally limited to members and their escorted guests. Clay shooting is typically open to the public, though non-members may pay higher fees. Membership requires no felonies, being 18 or older, and usually requires two existing members to sign the application as sponsors.
- Firearm-related services: While the club itself does not sell or rent firearms, other local businesses in Corpus Christi offer gun sales, rentals, gunsmithing services (repairs, optic mounting, sight-ins, cleaning, stippling, Cerakote), and specialized classes like defensive pistol and low-light shooting. These are typically separate entities but contribute to the overall shooting ecosystem in the area.
