Facilities and Ranges:

The English Pit Shooting Range offers a variety of outdoor ranges designed to accommodate different firearms and shooting distances. All firing lanes are covered, allowing for year-round operation regardless of weather conditions.

Their ranges include:

• Handgun Ranges: 10 and 20-yard lanes. These are suitable for various handgun calibers, up to large bore handguns like the .500 Magnum.
• Centerfire Rifle Ranges: 50 and 100-yard lanes. These ranges cater to a wide array of rifle calibers, with limits generally smaller than a .50 BMG.
• Rimfire Rifle Range: A 50-yard lane specifically for .22 caliber rimfire rifles, including .22 Magnum.
• Shotgun Range: A 50-yard lane for shotgun use. While they don't have dedicated trap, skeet, or sporting clays, shotguns can be used for stationary targets with shot size limited to #7 and smaller (slugs, sabots, and shot larger than #7 are not allowed).
• Black Powder and Air Powered Weapons: These are welcomed on the appropriate ranges.

The facility also provides:

• Concrete shooting tables and seats.
• Covered shooting areas for protection from the elements.
• Target frames are provided as part of the daily range fee, and a variety of paper targets are available for purchase. Shooters are also welcome to bring their own paper or cardboard targets, but hard or breakable targets are prohibited.
