All about Angels Camp Gun Club

Ranges and Disciplines:

The club provides various outdoor ranges for its members and hosts activities in three main categories:

• Trapshooting: This is a major activity, featuring five automated voice trap stations. Open practice sessions and league competitions are regularly held.

• Rifle Range: The facility includes a range dedicated to rifle shooting. This range is available to members when no trapshooting events are active.

• Pistol Range: A small yardage outdoor pistol range is available. It is unsupervised and for use by members only, who are responsible for their own targets and safety.

• Archery Range: An archery range is also available to members.

Facility and Safety Rules:

The club maintains a clubhouse that is available for rental. Key rules for the rifle and pistol ranges include a strict prohibition of metal targets and steel-core/steel/bi-metal jacketed ammunition.
