I noticed a ad for FrontSight.com for concealed handgun training.I been there and you sure don't want to go there for training.its in the middle of the Nevada desert near Pahrump, Nevada. Its extremely hot a very dry heat that makes you get heat stroke very quickly unless you constantly drink water every time you take a break. Its all dirt gravel and rocks that the ranges and simulator training are on.There is very little protection from the hot sun.The targets are low budget that they replace about 2-3 times a day and after each shooting exercise you tape them up with yellow tape , the holes, for the next shooter relay that's up.There is a A/C lunch room that they use for your lunch and for watching some training videos. The whole thing is very low budget. That's how they keep the costs down and are able to offer you the low price deals that they have out there. It can get repetitive and boring and they throw alot of information at you in a short time. The Instructors have all gone thru a 4 day instructor course and they train everyday and some are Outstanding and others are Alright.Dr. Piazza the founder of all of this lives in California where the corporate offices are and unlike Clint Smith who you will meet at Thunder Ranch. You won't be meeting Dr. Piazza anytime soon if ever at all.He might talk to you on the phone if he's in the office which is rarely.

Looking for a CZ compact, or a USP compact 9 mm what are the odds?? Also, is there a ten day hold if I decide to get one? I just got my Safety Certificate and I have registration (proof of residency) and a Valid CA DL. Will I be able to walk out with a gun that day?

I am going to the Ventura Gun Show. I am looking to buy an antique flintlock or percussion rifle. Anyone know of any for sale in any condition? I also have about 20 antique black powder pistols to sell or trade. Regards, Joseph
