By far the smallest gun show that I have been to.Very little vendors. Almost no accessories available and everything was at a questionable price.

This is a Great site!! But with the STUPID GUN LAWS can I purchase Ammo and not have to leave a whole bunch of information. i’m getting tired of HIGH COST OF LIVING IN CALIFORNIA and can’t enjoy a new hobbie for me and my family.
P.S. THINKING ABOUT MOVING TO ANOTHER STATE.

Buying the ammo isn’t hard, and yes I do agree they’re too many laws covering this very subject but you need to take a trip maybe Reno or Winnemucca Im just saying Im a vendor at this show so I understand your anguish. Do remember keep your mouth shut about your new hobby I found out the hard way and lets say being ripped off isn’t a good thing.

Probably shouldn’t be giving legal advice about buying ammo out of state. The last time I checked it is a FELONY under California law to import ammo from out of state unless you have a FFl or a California Ammo vendors license. Everyone should check the law before making out of state purchases and then transporting products to California. Just saying!

I was going to Six Flags with my kids anyway (we have season passes), so this was very convenient. Dropped the kids off at Six Flags and spent 3 hours walking through my first gun show. I enjoyed my time, but it was worth it because I was literally going across the street to Six Flags anyway. If you don’t live local, this is very much not worth it. My purchases basically saved me shipping costs, especially on bulk ammo which had some good deals.

As someone said , it is more of a flea market then a show , same old same old , by the time you go through it you would have driven a couple of hours depending on where you coming from and spent a good amount of money relative to any bargains you might find , for the most part , the ammo was 20 % to 30 % higher than online and the whole thing was not worth all that , I wish there be less shows and more to show .

So glad to see that PARKING IS NOW FREE AT VALLEJO! That’s awesome! We will for sure be coming back to this show to show our support, time and time again!

These gun shows are great. I always speak to very cool veterans and patriotic people. My philosophy is: Get to know some of them as soon as possible and let’s show these vendors our support. In 2018 online ammo purchases will no longer be an option and these shows will be a great option for purchasing ammunition. Beers are cold and the shows can be rather relaxing. My spouse even purchased hand made infant booties for a first child in the future, with gods good grace. Personaly I do not attend the large gun shows and expos as I get enough hustle and bustle with my work week and commute. After the gun show we meet up with family at Discovery Kingdom which we all have season tickets to. I recommend getting at least one food pass in case anyone is interested in a Six Flags discovery kingdom season pass as my spouse and I can spend all day in the park and honestly spend little to no money.
I hope these review is helpful to some.

The best thing about this show is Ammo, for AR’s and Pistols, Internet sales for parts and accessories has made it easy to get great quality shipped to your house so the show is becoming less and less attractive for the modern firearms enthusiast, If you’re looking for old stuff and curios you may find it here and it’s good to keep traditions going but $ 5.00 for the bridge toll and $10.00 for parking and another $10.00 to get in kinda negates the discount prices for ammo. The last two shows seemed to have fewer vendors.

I agree with most of you guys .its not a great show, compared to Reno ,Vegas or cow place
But I think as a community we should support anything related to guns and ammo .and I got to say ,I always find something cool…. I’d hate to think that they’d do away with these Shows.it would really suck it’s bad enough we have all these stupid ass laws.so get out to the gun show in vallejo .

Well people, I tried parking about 5 blocks away up the hill close to an abandoned gas station once. Had to walk by several thugs both ways. Crime is high in Vallejo. I’ll never do that again. 10 bucks is not a high price to pay to avoid your car being broken into that’s for sure. Plus we go to support our gun rights. Don’t we? I for one like the show. It has a variety of collectables from Antiques to curios to knives, clothing, ammo, tons of parts and reloading stuff. Even a table for modern cap& ball shooters. I’ve found hard to find die sets, Ideal loaders, rare black powder bullets, parts for my 7.7 Japanese rifle, a 44 Antique eagle grip bulldog, a Colt 41 derringer barrel for $10 at the bottom of a parts box, Bottom line is you never known what you might find. That’s a big part of the Vallejo show that I like a lot! I also like that small snack bar in the back. So come on people! Support our few shows left in the Bay Area and Go!!!

For some time now this gun show looks more like a garage sale than a gun show. Not to mention the cost of parking, which is out of site. Are there better gun shows out there? I don’t know, probably not in Ca.

I guess the promoters don’t care what their vendors sell or how much.
I’ve been there before and found things I didn’t mind paying for, but no more. If Code of the West had the decency to advertise the pay to park holdup, I might go again if they drop the surprise.

I actually enjoyed this show.
They actually had handguns for sale which i was shocked since cow palace didnt have any the day i went. Which i didnt mind at all.
Everytime I’ve been to a show found something that i wanted at a great price.

I have been to the Vallejo gun shows many times. There is usually only one or two tables with modern firearms, two tables with WWII era firearms, and one or two with rusted antiques. Then you have about four tables with accessories and 20-30 tables with books, dolls, coins, patches, and other junk. This is not a gun show. It is a doll and coin show with a couple firearm dealers. If you’re looking for ammo, there are usually a couple tables with limited rounds.
