If you go to gun shows to buy guns and ammo, this is the best one for you. It has a great selection at reasonable prices. Not all that weird 200 year old stuff that costs $5k.

I think this show is the best show that comes to Louisville the other is so big you can’t walk in there much less see the guns and if you can’t see the guns you can’t buy the guns

First Louisville show in several years and it has sure SHRUNK in size and for $33 for two including parking was total outrageous for this size show that’s no larger than other smaller shows now. Probably be several years if ever coming back to this show if no changes are made. I started attending shows here when they were held at the Butechel Armory and this was the MOST DISAPPOINTING show ever.

I agree that the show was a waste of time and space — the ONLY good thing to be said for it is that it was the only gun show that I have been to where you could actually walk up and down the aisles looking at the tables without constantly being pushed, shoved, and jostled — mostly because the place was a ghost town. I was able to get a handicapped parking space directly in front of the doors, which will tell anyone who knows the Kentucky Fair Grounds that there were almost no one here. The only thing I have to disagree with the other reviewers about is that $8 for parking plus $10 admission does NOT add up to $32 — apparently they didn’t bother with the $2 off coupons that are everywhere online AND chose to pay for a two-day ticket (God only knows why). The days of getting great deals at a gun show are long gone, and I don’t expect show vendors to beat online pricing, but I certainly expect them to at least come close to regular gunshop prices — most items that I knew the prices of were being offered for ABOVE MSRP, which puts them well above local gun shop prices. Vendors were complaining that no one was buying, and somehow they couldn’t figure out why no one wanted to pay $270 for a Hi-Point Carbine, $1500 for a DSA FAL, or $15 for Gen2 P-Mags, to cite just some of the Bargains available. Quite a few vendors commented that they would not be back for the next show, which won’t be any great loss. The show was not full of the non-firearms junk that we see at many shows, but that just left the place even more empty than usual. I did find a couple of items at acceptable prices, some new milspec steel AR mags for $10 apiece (but NO decent AK mags at any price) and a couple of boxes of ammo (no great deals, but buying in person avoided the cost of shipping for calibers where I only wanted a couple of boxes, not a whole case). It is ridiculous that I live in Louisville and the only decent gun show around here is the Indy 1500 (130 miles North on I-65) (and that isn’t as good as it used to be).

This was a complete waste of my time and money it look like there was only a few real vendors at this show the rest look like they went into the spare bedroom of their house and grab all of the crap they don’t want so they could sell it at an inflated price and with the entry fee and parking totaling $32 I would have been better off shopping on Amazon laying out in the sun taking my risks with skin cancer as opposed to wasting 30 minutes of my life that I will never get back
