Never been to a gun show. You hear about people shooting themselves by accident. Perhaps a lesson in gun safety prior to admission should be warranted.

Thank God that we live in a country where we (Americans) can voice our opinions and beliefs and still keep and bear arms. On that note, Phil Robertson from Duck Commander/Buck Commander only stated his beliefs( and why not). Some pholks did not agree with his statements. SO WHAT! Yall put your big boy or big girl pants or whatever it is you wear, suck it up and move on. In short GROW UP! Lord knows the rest of us Americans have been force fed( opinions) that we do not agree with but.”Hey, You can’t fix Stupid” GOD BLESS AMERICA , Phil Robertson & his family!

Ian I’m not sure about SC but most shows you can bring a weapon to sell. You have to secure the firing mechanism. and have it unloaded of course. I recommend checking with the sponsoring the organization with respect with the specific regulations. And follow all state and federal Regs.

Bill a Baseball bat is a weapon, that is what my daughter keeps under her bed. Hers has spike’s in the business end of it ! Y’all have fun at the gun show and enjoy it while we are still allowed to go! On that note, please contact your city, state and Washington to let your congressman know that”We the people” are still voting. Greenville don’t wait until we are like Connecticut and have to have a permit to own a long gun. It could happen here! Stay Safe.

In South Carolina you can go to show and just stand outside and sell your weapon. Just carry a sign advertising what you are selling and price. No paper work is required if both the buyer and seller are residents of South Carolina. It’s wise to get the buyer name in case there’s and issue later on but it’s not required by law. If you enter the show a plastic lock similar to plastic hand cuffs will be put on the weapon’s breach so that it can’t be loaded. Also, the police are everywhere.
