Although not as large I like the Gun Show at the Fort Lauderdale Armory much better than the one at the War Memorial Auditorium. War Memorial charges too much to get in plus you have to pay for parking. Admission is reasonable at the Fort Lauderdale Armory and as I understand some of the proceeds go to the military. A win win for everyone.

Parking is advertised on the SuncoastGunShows.com site and I’ve found it personally to be FREE at the War Memorial show, at least currently (attended in August 2014). Admission is only $12 (kids under 12 are free) and it’s so much larger. It’s also – and this is a big one – air conditioned:)
-no, I don’t work there, but I’ve visited both.

I’ll be there! I like the Gun Show Team! Just wondering how long a Conceal Carry class is and whether fingerprinting and notary are included! Basically, leaving it so all we have to do is mail in to the State with the fee!

I live in west palm & know the show held at the armory here is usually very small. Can anyone tell me if this would be worth the drive or is it a really small show, too. Thank you!

We attended on Saturday morning and participated in the raffle for a shotgun. On Sunday afternoon they called me that I had one the raffle but I needed to pick it up within 30 minutes. I couldn’t get there in that amount if time so I had to forfeit. They didn’t allow me the opportunity to pick it up at the dealer later.
